NASSR 2011 Registration and Fee Reminders

A few friendly reminders for you as NASSR 2011 approaches!

1) Registration deadline: June 30 (Thursday). Register online or follow directions for mailing in your registration.

2) Registration fee is $75 for grad students if you register *before* July 1, 2011. If you miss the July 1 deadline, it goes up to $100.

3) You have to be a NASSR member to register for the conference. To renew your membership or join for the first time, go here.

4) Banquet tickets are $45 (quoted from website):

The conference banquet will be held in the conference hotel ballroom on the evening of Saturday, August 13.  Tickets are $45 and must be purchased by August 1.  In registering you will be able to choose from salmon, vegetarian relleno, stuffed chicken, and cider-brined pork.

5) Tickets for Utah Symphony at Deer Valley are $20 (gen admission lawn seating) or $48 (reserved seating):

On the evening of Friday, August 12, conference attendees will have the chance to attend an open-air concert by the Utah Symphony at the stunning venue of Deer Valley.  As luck would have it, that night’s concert is all about “Romanticism and Independence,” featuring Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor.  We have reserved a block of tickets at a discounted rate ($48 for reserved seats, $20 for general admission lawn seating).  Those sitting in general admission should plan to either bring a blanket or rent a lawn chair at the event.
